PFA Player of the year 2012

Will it be a fix? It usually is. Below are the nominees and my predictions.

PFA Player Of The Year
Joe Hart, Sergio Aguero, David Silva, Wayne Rooney, Robin Van Persie and Scott Parker.

PFA Young Player Of The Year
Danny Welbeck, Daniel Sturridge, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, Kyle Walker, Sergio Aguero and Gareth Bale.

Player Of The Year First, and we can write off Spur's Scott Parker; he's an over-rated pile of wank in the wrong league. Secondly, we can write off Silva and Rooney for their inconsistent seasons; regardless of how much impact or how important for their respected teams they have been.

Next, Joe Hart, who won't win it, just like last year, because he's a goalie, and goalies don't win player of the year (on the other hand, Krul and Vorm have also been great this year, where's their nomination?)

Which leaves us with Van Persie and Aguero.

It has to be Van Persie, his record is sensational and he's single-handedly put Arsenal back on track this season, plus Aguro is in both categories so that automatically means he won't win this one.

Robin Van Persie; the cheating ugly cunt, deserved winner.

For Young Player, things get even simpler and considerable more absurd. First, Bale who has been average at best, injured and even lathargic for part of the season. Plus I think he won it recently, so it won't be him.

Next, and more absurdly, are Oxlade-Chamberlain has played around 10 games, and Walker cannot defend or communicate properly (as we saw the other week with his own keeper).  There's no doubt Chamberlain, in particular, has potential, but when he's put in the same category as some of the aforementioned, he doesn't come close. As for Walker, don't be stupid, he's hideously over-rated because he's at Spurs, just like Parker..

So, that rules them three out. Next Sturridge.

Sturridge has been hit and miss this season, looking deadly on the attack, but lazy in defence and lacking consistent quality. City fan's will agree he's another player with great potential, but leaving City in the first place has probably damaged his development beyond repair.

You could've been a contender Danny boy, but it's not you. You greedy money grabbing twat.

So he's out and we're left with Welbeck, who's had a pretty good season, quite consistent, and Aguero, who's season has been so good he's been nominated in both categories.

The question is simple; who's been better: Aguero or Welbeck?

Sergio Aguero: Games 49 | Goals 32

Danny Welbeck: Games 40 | Goals 11

It's obvious really, and that doesn't take into account assists.  Surely, logic prevails?

Sergio Aguero, hard working Argy lynchpin, deserved winner
